1. How do the AIRWAAV Nasal Strips work?
Each AIRWAAV Nasal Strip is designed with flexible, spring-like bands that adhere just above the nostrils. As the bands return to their natural shape, they gently lift the sides of the nose, helping to open nasal passages and improve airflow for instant relief.
2. How should I apply or remove my AIRWAAV Nasal Strips?
1. Clean & Dry First
For the best hold, make sure your skin is clean and dry—the adhesive won’t stick well to oily, wet, or moisturized skin.
2. Proper Placement is Key
Peel and place the strip just above the flare of your nostrils for optimal lift and airflow.
3. Secure & Breathe
Press down gently and smooth the strip into place. Now, take a deep breath—better breathing starts now.
4. Easy Removal
When you’re done, wash your face with warm water for 10 seconds, then gently lift each side of the strip and remove. Gentle is the key word here! Slow and steady wins the race. You can also remove while you’re in the shower.
3. How do I know which size is for me?
AIRWAAV Nasal Strips come in two sizes: Small/Medium (5.5 cm long) and Large (6.5 cm long).
While most people can wear either size, we generally recommend the Small/Medium size for the majority of users, as it fits about 75% of adult noses. The Large size is best suited for those with wider or larger nasal structures.
How to Measure for the Best Fit:
- Measure Your Nose Width : Use a ruler or measuring tape to measure the bridge of your nose, just above where your nostrils flare.
- Match Your Measurement to a Size: If your nose width is less than 5.5 cm, choose Small/Medium (5.5 cm long). If your nose width is 5.5 cm or more, opt for Large (6.5 cm long).
- Check for Comfort & Effectiveness: The strip should feel secure yet comfortable, providing a noticeable lift without feeling too tight or too loose. If it doesn’t feel effective, try a different size.
4. Can I cut the strips in half?
No, cutting AIRWAAV Nasal Strips can compromise their structure and effectiveness, preventing them from working as intended.
5. Can the nasal strips help with snoring?
When dealing with nasal congestion, AIRWAAV Nasal Strips can help by opening nasal passages and improving airflow, providing relief you can feel right away. While we do not make any claims that they prevent snoring, many users have reported that they experience improvement when using them.
If you suspect that your snoring is linked to a more serious condition, such as sleep apnea, we always recommend consulting with a doctor. AIRWAAV Nasal Strips are not intended to treat sleep apnea or other medical conditions.
6. Will it help with nasal congestion due to colds or allergies?
Nasal congestion from colds or allergies further restricts the already narrow nasal passages, making it harder to breathe through your nose. AIRWAAV Nasal Strips gently open the nostrils, improving airflow and providing instant relief.
7. Can it really help me sleep?
Yes, it may! Better breathing means better sleep. Even subtle breathing difficulties from nasal congestion can lead to tossing and turning, disruptive sleep, waking up frequently, or waking up tired. AIRWAAV nasal strips open your nose, helping you take in air more easily.
8. I have a deviated septum, will this help?
A deviated septum—a shift in the cartilage or bone separating the nostrils—can lead to blocked airflow, difficulty sleeping, chronic congestion, and loud breathing or snoring. While AIRWAAV Nasal Strips aren’t a replacement for surgical correction, they help open nasal passages, making breathing easier. The best part? You may feel the difference right away.
9. Who can benefit from nasal strips, and when is the best time to use them?

Whether you’re sleeping, training, or going about your day, these strips help optimize nasal breathing whenever you need it. AIRWAAV Nasal Strips are designed for anyone to use, with the timing and application depending on personal preference.
